ASUS WL-520gC Wireless Router is an external router which 
supports both wireless and wired connectivity. The device has built in antenna and LED panel. It has integrated 4-port switch and has a data transfer rate of 125 Mbps. This router comes with NAT support, firewall protection and wireless distribution system support.
The ASUS wireless router has a frequency band of 2.4 GHz. The data link protocols of the unit are Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and Fast Ethernet. The switching protocol of this router is Ethernet and the transport protocols are L2TP, PPTP, IPSec, CP/IP and ICMP/IP. Status indicators are provided on the device for showing power on status, port status and link activity. DHCP support, URL filtering, VPN passthrough, High Speed Mode (HSM), MAC address filtering and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) are the other features of this router. The device supports AES, WPA, TKIP, WPA2, WPA-PSK, 64-bit WEP and 128-bit WEP encryption algorithm. The authentication method of this router is RADIUS.
