Belkin F5D8233-4 Wireless Router, unlike the wired routers, enables easy sharing of your internet connection while it allows you to stream music, share photos, enjoy online gaming, surf the Web, Email and chat online simultaneously. The router functionalities are VPN Pass-Thru, Firewall and DHCP Server.
Features
The connectivity technology of the Belkin router is wireless and the WAN interface is 1 x 10/100 Base-T where as the LAN interface is 10/100 Base-T. The standards of the router are IEEE 802.3 CSMA/CD or Ethernet, IEEE 802.3u 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet), IEEE 802.11b 2.4 GHz 11 Mbps WiFi, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11i Wireless Security. DHCP and IP are the protocols and the remote management protocol is HTTP.
The Firewall features of the Belkin F5D8233-4 54Mbps Wireless Router are Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), DoS Prevention, MAC Address Filtering and NAT. 802.11b Data transferring rates are 11 Mbps, 5.5 Mbps, 2 Mbps and 1 Mbps while 802.11g Data Rates are 54 Mbps, 48 Mbps, 36 Mbps, 24 Mbps, 28 Mbps, 12 Mbps, 9 Mbps, 6 Mbps, 5.5 Mbps, 2 Mbps and 1 Mbps. The modulation features are OFDM, CCK, QPSK, BPSK, DBPSK, DQPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM and DSSS.
The supported security features of this Belkin wireless router are WEP, WPA, Wireless MAC Address Filtering and WPA2. This device has two Detachable Antennas. There are LED indicators for indicating the power and status. The dimensions of the router are 4” x 11.5” x 10.3”. The maximum users allowed are 253 (LAN) and 16 (WLAN). The supported operating systems are Windows 2000, XP and Vista or Mac OS x v10.2, 10.3, or 10.4. The RAM capacity should be minimum 64MB. The package includes installation CD, quick installation guide, RJ45 Ethernet networking cable and User Manual on CD-ROM.
With lifetime warranty, the additional features are Auto Crossover (MDI/MDI-X), UPnP Certified, MIMO and DMZ Support.
