The new Kyocera KR1 Wireless Router is a powerful device that lets you
access wireless applications in no time. It has extended features regarding connectivity and applications. This refined system measures 8.5 x 5.3 x 1.3 inches and weighs 15.9 grams.
This stylish black wireless router is supported with 4-port switch. It carries data over 802.11b & g protocols with fast Ethernet. There connectivity is possible both wired and wireless. The network protocols used in this unit are PPTP and HTTP. It is featured with NAT support, DHCP support, VPN passthrough, IP address filtering and MAC address filtering. It working is based on OFDM technology. In addition, it is featured with wireless broadband network with 1 x EV-DO PC card or phone. This enables Wi-Fi hotspot capability which behaves virtually anywhere. There are LED indicators for Power, Status, WAN (1x EV-DO), WLAN, Local Network and Phone.
The Kyocera KR1 2.4 Mbps Wireless Router has an antenna that transfers data at a rate of 2.4 Mbps. Connections associated with this smart system include Installed PC Card, Ethernet 10Base-T and USB. The encryption programs are WPA-PSK, 64-bit WEP and 128-bit WEP. It has web-based browser supporting Internet Explorer v6, Netscape Navigator v6 or other JavaScript-enabled browsers. It is powered from an external source.
