The new external D-Link DIR-615 Wireless Router comes with 
integrated 4-port switch and has wired as well as wireless connectivity technology. It is a compact router. The device has two detachable Omni-directional antennas. Link activity, link OK, status and power indicators are provided.
This wireless router has a frequency bandwidth of 2.4 GHz. Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11n (draft) are the data link protocols and Ethernet is the switching protocol of this D-Link router. The network/ transport protocols of the system are TCP/IP, PPTP, L2TP, NTP, IPSec, PPPoE and DHCP. HTTP is the remote management protocol. It has firewall protection, NAT support, auto-uplink (auto MDI/MDI-X), Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), content filtering, VPN passthrough and parental control features. 128-bit WEP, 64-bit WEP, WPA and WPA2 are the encryption algorithm of this router. The authentication methods are RADIUS, Radio Service Set ID (SSID) and Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP).
