Draytek Vigor 2600G Wireless Router is one among the power 
packed external wireless routers with built in antenna. It has a maximum data transfer rate of 54 Mbps and a frequency bandwidth of 2.4 GHz. This is a DSL router with ITU G.992.1 (G.DMT) and ITU G.992.2 (G.Lite) protocols and has a maximum transfer rate of 8 Mbps. It has print server, 4 LAN ports and it supports NAT as well as DHCP.
The router has ANSI T1.413 framing format. The data link protocols supported are Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g and the transport protocols are TCP/IP, PPTP, L2TP, IPSec, PPPoE, PPPoA and AAL5. The switching protocol of the unit is Ethernet. This Draytek wireless router comes with power, port status, link activity, port transmission speed and status indicators. The routing protocols of the unit are RIP-2 and static IP routing and the remote management protocols are SNMP, Telnet and HTTP. This router has DES, Triple DES, MD5, MPPE and AES, 128-bit WEP, 64-bit WEP, IKE and SHA-1 encryption algorithm. It offers Firewall protection, switching, VPN support, PAT support, VLAN support, Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI), DoS attack prevention, manageable and MAC address filtering.
The Draytek Vigor 2600G 54kbps Wireless Router requires operating systems support of Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Apple Mac OS 9.x, Apple Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. The connectivity interfaces are modem – ADSL ( WAN ), 4 network – Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX – RJ-45, network – Radio-Ethernet and USB – 4 PIN USB Type A. The power is provided by external power adaptor and the operational power consumption of the unit is 10 Watts. The dimensions of the router are 16 cm x 22 cm x 3.7 cm. A network cable and a modem cable are included with this router. A warranty of 3 years is also offered by the manufacturer.
