Draytek Vigor 2910VGi VPN Dual WAN Wireless Router is the latest router
which connects internet to multiple systems with out any delay and data loss. It is a high speed Dual WAN Wireless Router which is highly efficient than any other ordinary routers. Draytek Vigor 2910VGi is a high-performance firewall and VPN (Virtual Private Network) device. This firewall is an anti-virus programme which protects the computers from virus attacks. Security features are crammed into every area of the Vigor 2910′s functions.
It is a router which is capable of running 16 coordinated tunnels to remote locations. The ISDN can connect to any ISDN2e or BT Highway line and its interface provides dial-back up in the main event of your main internet feed that was interrupted. It has an external detachable aerial for better reception and transmission of signals. The maximum transfer rate is 128 Kbps. The power consumption of the model in the operational mode is just 10 watts.

This device has a frequency band of 2.4 GHz and the Data Link Protocol is Ethernet, ATM, ISDN, Fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and 802.11 Super G. The transport Protocol is PPTP, L2TP, NTP, IPSec, PPPoE, DHCP, DNS and the Remote Management Protocol SNMP, Telnet, HTTP, HTTPS and with a Routing Protocol of RIP-2, static IP routing.
The VoIP Protocol supported by the Draytek Vigor 2910VGi VPN Wireless Router is SIP, RTP / RTCP with 6 SIP Registrars. It has an automatic Gain Control and with a Codec features G.711 A/µ Law, G.723.1, G.726, G.729 A/B and VAD / CNG
The IP Telephony features are of comfort noise generation (CNG), voice activity detection (VAD), and echo cancellation (G.168), call forwarding, adaptive jitter buffer (125ms), call waiting, call hold, call transfer and DTMF generation. The other features are wireless LAN Isolation, wireless Station Rate-Control, WPA / WPA2. The 802.1X Authentication is done with RADIUS Client and has a hidden SSID.
The WAN Protocol supported is DHCP Client, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP, BPA, and L2TP and has a variety of firewall installed. CSM (Content Security Management) for IM/P2P Application, Multi-NAT, DMZ Host, Port-Redirection/Open Port, Policy-Based IP Packet Filter, DoS/DDoS Protection, IP Address Anti-Spoofing, E-Mail Alert and logging via Syslog and Bind IP to MAC Address are the other remarkable features supported by the device.
It is also provided with a class-based bandwidth guarantee for VoIP. It is classified in different service code point with four levels Priority for Each Direction. When we come to the network management we have Administration Access Control, Configuration Backup or restore and a built-in Diagnostic function.
The interfaces supported are 4 network Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX – RJ-45, 2 network Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX – RJ-45 ( WAN ), 2 phone line FXS, 1 USB and 1 network – Radio-Ethernet.
