Netgear DGN2000 Wireless Router is an external device with 
built in ADSL2+ modem. It is provided with wireless on/off switch to turn off wireless signals. This router can be easily setup with the help of Smart Wizard installation CD. The wireless device has integrated 4-port switch. You can simply push and connect the unit using Wi-Fi protected setup.
This Netgear wireless router has a data transfer rate of 300 Mbps and the frequency band of the unit is 2.4 GHz. The data link protocols are Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g and IEEE 802.11n (draft). HTTP is the remote management protocol and ADSL, ADSL 2 and ADSL2+ are the digital signalling protocols of this wireless router. Its Network Address Translation feature helps to hide PC’s and files from outside users and the Stateful packet inspection SPI denies outside requests for personal information. The wireless access control identifies authorized wireless network devices. Firewall protection, DoS attack prevention, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), MAC address filtering, URL filtering, Exposed host (DMZ), Quality of Service (QoS) and Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) are the other features of the unit. The router supports encryption algorithms like 128-bit WEP, 64-bit WEP, WPA2, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK.
