Thomson TG587N Wireless Router operates at a frequency of 2.4GHz and has a typical indoor coverage of 120m enabling access to your internet at any point under this range. It supports Manual/auto selection WiFi mode (802.11g only, mixed, 802.11b/g only) and wireless distribution sytem (WDS).
For security, Thomson has loaded this router with features like ICSA grade security service, Embedded Firewall, 802.1x/PSK WPA (WPA-PSK), 64/128bit WEP encryption, Wireless client registration/access control (with physical push button), SSL, and SSH. Thomson TG587N 120m Wireless Router has routing features such as PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE), PPP over ATM (PPPoA), Classical IP (CIP) and Ethernet over ATM (ETHoA).
Interfaces supported by this unit are LAN, WAN, 4 x Ethernet (RJ45) ports and 2 USB 2.0 Master Ports. Wireless standards to which this product complies are IEEE 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n draft 2.0. Game technologies (PS2, XBox live, Direct Play etc) and conferencing functions of Microsoft Messenger are realized in this router with UPnP support.
Service Web GUI is made possible via HTTP and HTTPS. OS independent web based (Wireless) Home Network Install Wizard makes it easy to get started with the product. It features TR-069 remote management on demand and Command Line Interface (CLI) via Telnet. Relay features in the product are PPPoX to PPTP relay and PPPoX to DHCP relay. Other functions in the router are NAT/PAT support, DNS server, SNMP, Bridging and Eventlog.
With LED indicators for all interface ports, this unit comes in standing and wall-mountable design (optional foot). It can function in a temperature range of 0-40 C (32-105F) and humidity range from 20% to 80%. It requires a voltage of AC voltage of 100-120VAC/220-240VAC and frequency of 50-60 Hz. Language support of this unit are English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Dutch, Portuguese and Swedish.
Online Software upgrading is enabled from remote management station or through Easy SW upgrade Wizard. The product package contains Wireless-n ADSL Gateway, Power Adapter, Ethernet (RJ45) and telephone (RJ11) cable, Setup CD and leaflet, Jig, screws and plugs for wall mounting, Foot & inlay (optional) and Filters or splitters (optional).
